orville's three months old now!! as of his last vet appointment, he's doubled in weight since we got him and he's gotten even longer and taller to match. unfortunately he's also such a little bastard (affectionate) who loves mischief and playing with junebug and ghost, who both want nothing to do with him still. so he gets slapped a lot. otherwise, he's doing great!
me, on the other hand? not as great as i'd like! i'm still waiting to get the mental health letter that i need in order to be approved for top surgery. it's taking way longer than i'd like ┬┬﹏┬┬

my partner and i adopted a kitten recently!! he's a two month old black shorthair boy named orville and he was the tiniest baby in his litter! he's been doing soooo well so far, he's constantly purring and making biscuits on whatever surface is available and is just such a happy baby. we haven't introduced our two other cats to him yet, but we've been letting them sniff anything that has his scent on it and they both seem pretty curious and not at all uneasy or angry, so i really hope the eventual introduction goes well!!

i want them all to be besties right now sooooo bad, but i'm determined to make sure it goes as slowly as they all need it to. junebug, our four year old girl, probably won't care too much about the baby when she's finally used to him, but ghost, our nine year old boy, still acts like a kitten and wants to play all the time. i think he's going to love his new baby brother. :D

not much has actually been happening lately, but i'm planning lots of things! a few weeks ago, i finally got a referral from my doctor for top surgery, and it's to one of the best surgeons in the state, so i'm SUPER excited for that :D the office still hasn't called me back, which makes me a litte nervous, but i'm sure everything's gonna end up okay in the end. i've been waiting years and years for this, so a couple more weeks to finally get the ball rolling won't hurt me!

i'm also working on more fursuits with my partner to keep ourselves busy! we're taking these ones a little more slowly since they're our sonas; we want to get them just right! we've got lots of samples from big z and howl fabrics just to make sure the colors we pick are perfect. i'm still not sure exactly what i want to pick for mine. their fur colors tend more to look more peachy nowadays and howl's orange sherbert fur looks so good for that, but i also LOVE the look of the more soft light brown furs. i'll make a decision eventually lol

i went to anthrohio with my partner the other day!! it was my first furry con and my first time suiting and we'd been making partial suits for the last month, so we got to debut them there! i still need to draw up some refs for them both, but they're matching pink and aqua angel-demon dogs named haven and skye :D

it was so hot and crowded and we didn't get to go to any panels because there was no room, but i still had tons of fun and recognized lots of suits! i found out earlier that it usually isn't like that though? apparently there were upwards of 2,000 attendees over the weekend (46% more than last year), which is!! >:O wow!! if they end up changing venues for next year to a bigger hotel, i'd love to go again.

on another note, i'm trying to get the motivation together to clean up after weeks of crafting. there's still so much out of place!! i need to clean everything up so i can finally start taking pics of things for my irl sections on my collections page AUGHHHH
